XiFin Executive Leadership to Present Sessions at 22nd Annual Executive War College on How to Prepare for the Financial Impact of PAMA and Strategies for Molecular & Genetic Testing Success

April 19, 2017

XiFin Inc., the healthcare information technology company revolutionizing the business of healthcare diagnostics, today announced that Lâle White, Executive Chairman and CEO, and Kyle Fetter, VP of Advanced Diagnostics, will be speaking at the 22nd annual Executive War College Conference on Laboratory & Pathology Management to be held May 2-3, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans, LA.

On Tuesday, May 2 from 9:45 AM – 10:20 AM, White will present the opening general session, “Preparing for PAMA’s Part B Price Cuts: What XiFin’s Impact Analysis Predicts for Labs Like Yours in 2018.” The session will provide a detailed analysis of the financial impact that Medicare Part B price cuts will have on clinical labs throughout the U.S., calculated using XiFin’s extensive laboratory claims database. White will also highlight the importance of a sound financial backbone for the management of accounts receivable in the face of increased payor audits and changing SEC guidance.

Later in the day on May 2 from 1:30 PM – 2:20 PM, White will continue the discussion as a panelist in the breakout session, “Preparing for the Financial Impact of PAMA Market Price Reporting and New Developments with Medicare and Private Payers.” The panel will provide attendees with additional detailed insights and information about the PAMA market price reporting rule as a follow-up to White’s opening session.

“Our industry has no better authority than Lâle to speak about the financial ramifications of upcoming cuts to Medicare Part B lab test fees, which is predicted to be the single most financially disruptive event to hit the clinical lab industry in 20 years,” stated Robert Michel, Editor-In-Chief of The Dark Report and President of The Dark Intelligence Group, Inc. “XiFin’s processing of more than 300 million lab claims a year gives them a unique perspective and rich database from which to analyze and model private payor pricing trends for high-volume lab tests. This is an invaluable opportunity for laboratory managers to learn how to prepare for the revenue compression that will hit the lab industry in 2018.”

On Thursday, May 4 Fetter will participate in a post-conference workshop, “Success with Molecular & Genetic Testing: What’s Working Best with Payers, Docs, Regulators,” where he will join leading experts to provide the latest recommendations on regulatory issues, marketing strategies, contracting and pricing to help labs expand market share for molecular and genetic tests.  From 10:20 AM -11:05 AM, Fetter will present the session, “What’s Working and What’s Not When Getting Paid for Molecular and Genetic Tests: Methods, Tools, Approaches, and Appeals Efforts that Produce the Best Results as Payers Get Tougher.”
